I, 林国华, am the applicant’s father. I am writing to confirm my regular income and my commitment to provide financial support to 林知远 during the September 2026 intake of MSc Data Science at University of Glasgow.

1. Sponsor identity and income source

The stated income is employment income received through the sponsor’s current employment. Supporting documents are listed below for independent review.

2. Financial support undertaking

I undertake to provide up to CNY 46,800 toward the applicant’s tuition, accommodation, living expenses and related study costs for the initial study period. The funds will be transferred from an account controlled by me at Bank of China Hangzhou Binjiang Sub-branch. The source of funds is lawful personal income and accumulated savings.

This undertaking does not replace any financial evidence specifically requested by the receiving institution or competent authority. The attached records should be read together with the applicant’s admission and fee documents.
